The Body and movable jaw are made of Graded cast iron to ensure high strength, toughness and shock resistance. The Screw and jaw are made of special allow steel hardened and ground to close tolerance. The Nut is made of Graded bronze material to give wear resistance and high strength.

The swivel base is provided with graduations to facilitate swivelling of the vice through 360 degrees.
